Community Tree Planting Event

At a recent community Tree Planting event at Waun Fawr, the first tree in the ground was planted by former City Councillor, Malcolm Gray. The tree was presented to Malcolm by the Mayor and City Councillors as a thank you for his service to both the Council and community during his many years in office.

A wide range of tree species were then planted by local volunteers and Council members alike, as part of the Woodland Trust’s free trees scheme. A big thank you to everybody who turned up to help and for working incredibly hard.
