Whitesands Beach

Whitesands is one of the best surfing beaches in the County and is recognised as a Blue Flag Beach. The beach is accessible to all via a concrete ramp. The beach is overlooked by Carn Llidi and you can access the coast path from each side of the car park. Please be advised that dog restrictions apply from 1st May to 30th September for the entire beach.

Seasonal Car Park 

1st March – 31st October parking charges will apply.

St Davids City Council owns and maintains the car park at Whitesands. 

Permanent resident passes and season tickets for non residents will be available from the Car Park Attendant at the attendant’s hut at Whitesands car park.

Resident passes are £15 per pass. To be eligible you must live in St Davids permanently, be on the electoral roll and show your driver’s license.

Season tickets cost £65. Season tickets for disabled badge holders are £40. For more information regarding parking charges please click here.

Whitesands Beach House 

Whitesands Beach House serve hot and cold food for takeaway, coffee, teas and hot chocolate. Cold drinks, ice cream and snacks. Beach goods and local artwork for sale.

Facilities 

Public toilets are located within the car park adjacent to the beach.

Disabled changing facilities are now available and keys can be collected from the Car Park Attendant or the Whitesands Beach House Café.

A family changing room is also available – the room provides a standard size toilet as well as a smaller one aimed at younger children, a baby changing unit and a large space to accommodate pushchairs.

RNLI Lifeguards are on patrol from end of May to September.
